DyStar Joins United Nations Global Compact

Dystar, the leading global supplier of dyes and chemicals to the textile and leather industries, has joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) to strengthen its commitment towards sustainability and establish itself as a sustainable industry leader.

 

DyStar is pleased to announce that it has joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) with the objective of strengthening the Group’s commitment towards sustainability.

Further building on its environmental and social accountability, DyStar is pleased to take the pledge according to the ten principles of UNGC and adopt this globally recognized policy framework for the development, implementation, and disclosure of environmental, social, and governance policies and practices within the company with the objective of strengthening its commitment towards sustainability and establishing itself as a sustainability leader in the textile and chemical industry.

As a leading global supplier of dyes and chemicals to the textile and leather industries, DyStar not only has a long history of action to reduce the environmental impact of the supply chain but also recently issued its first corporate sustainability report prepared according to GRI principles.
